in hte late 70s lots of bands were looked down upon just because they were wearing ties, white shirts ans properly combed hair : Bowie, Joy D, Kraftwerk, marquis de sade ('scuse my french)... just shows how intolerant the left winging leading opinion was, now they're OK if their kids wear army jeans, boots and arms to protect themselves
the truth is they took control of the media and they won't let go of it, so DiJ are in the minority, better right with a few than wrong with the masses
c'est cool le vauban, on dirait qu'ils jouent derrière le bar, quelques groupes gôchistes avaient émis des réserves sur les orientations politiques du groupe... mais pourquoi y en a un qui commence à chanter "maréchal..." à la fin ?
this takes me back to my 18th birthday at the royal guildford surrey 1982 over the years i have followed them through thick and thin its a shame theres no more live gigs take care and control
Not at all, though that is a perfect demonstration of your 2D perspective if the world. by that i mean i am not a national socialist, as it happens i am probably alot more interesting than you, but i digress. To be open minded implies you have the faculties of rationality, otherwise you are just 'empty', not open minded. you are the one who is closed minded because you ommit from all forms of human, life and existential thought.
I just pointed out that I don't like politics and people who puts you behind a barrier and identify you just through your political "belief". For that reason I said that I like to listen to punk bands as well as DI6. I don't understand what's your problem with that...
Except you didn't quite phrase it like that did you now? it was more like "Fuck politics and fuck narrow-minded people. And fuck those who want to confine you behind barriers." you made an open statement, so i was more than entitled to counter it, which i did not even do until you started calling me a nazi . I should rightfully be the one asking you what your bloody problem is, if you want to avoid confrontation dont be a stupid jackass. oh and lol quoting belief, what are you implying?
From way back in the 80s I loved these guys, after joy division, and the electronic stuff what they done after, I love it all! I'd like to have all this and sit around and listen to it in my DDR snow camo, whilst smoking some good ganja!
The drummer was probabl bored with what he was playing. Once you play a song enough times, especially one as simple as that, you get bored to hell with playing it.
Yes, that was a last minute replacement venue - if you can consider a bar as a venue - called le Café Belge, in Brest, France. It's a long story, but originally the concert had to take place somewhere else, but it was cancelled just the day before by the venue's cunt-owner for the same-as-usual odd reasons... Believe me, the 24 hours between the cancellation and the first guitar chords were very very very long......
Anyone know what song Douglas began to play at the end of the video?
