in hte late 70s lots of bands were looked down upon just because they were wearing ties, white shirts ans properly combed hair : Bowie, Joy D, Kraftwerk, marquis de sade ('scuse my french)... just shows how intolerant the left winging leading opinion was, now they're OK if their kids wear army jeans, boots and arms to protect themselves

the truth is they took control of the media and they won't let go of it, so DiJ are in the minority, better right with a few than wrong with the masses

Yes, that was a last minute replacement venue - if you can consider a bar as a venue - called le Café Belge, in Brest, France. It's a long story, but originally the concert had to take place somewhere else, but it was cancelled just the day before by the venue's cunt-owner for the same-as-usual odd reasons... Believe me, the 24 hours between the cancellation and the first guitar chords were very very very long......
