@saraibewildered Girl, I say do it!!! I love V05 too (well their conditioners). But if you want a deeper conditioner, honey hemp is alot better.

Oh yes, I tried the shampoo. I like it! I like the fact that it can be used on your hair/body. Honeywash mango is fav.

Hello, I just did the Big Chop about 3mos ago and I am trying so hard to find the right products to use on my hair. I have tried Kinky Curly, Miss Jessie's and have to say I haven't really cared for either one of the results I got. I don't have the $ to keep throwing away but I really want to try Oyin sample set. Does the shipping really take a long time? Just wondering

Congrats on your BC!!! All I can tell you is to keep at it. THe first4-5 mos are going to be trial n error when it comes to products. You will start to think you're a product a junkie because you won't know exactly what your hair likes/dislikes. I will tell you though don't throw those products away just because they don't work at first. What I've experienced is that later as my hair is getting longer some of the products that didn't work for me at first, when I revisited worked for me later.

I love your hair! I just purchased the sample pack and can't wait to try the Frank Juice and the shine and define with the whipped pudding. I love the burnt sugar pomade and the juices and berrys. Great review! I love the honey hemp, burnt sugar, and whipped pudding also. I like to mix whipped pudding with good ole palmers cocoa butter for my skin - great combo! I'll have to try the frank juice, I've only used Greg juice.

Do you dilute the condish when using it as a leave in, or do you use it straight?

Yes I do. It's too thick for me to use it straight, so I was dilute it with water and a couple drops of glycerin.

I'm definitely an Oyin fan!!! I love all the products you reviewed. I've used Whipped Pudding for my twists and it gives me really soft twist outs. The Burnt Sugar Pomade is great for untwisting your twists or on your itchy scalp. I give them 10 out of 5 stars!! Lol!!!

Trust, shrinkage, will always be a constant battle with Naturals, that's something we just have to embrace because guess what the alternative is. . . . . .permanently straightening your hair all over again. I was told by Candace that flat twisting/braiding your hair stretches the hair a little bit more (mind it will shrink, but not as much). Also do twist/braid outs on dry vs. wet hair.

I ordered my sample package last week, I am interested mostly in the hemp conditioner for my co-washes and the greg juice because my hair does not take to oils very well

You should be happy with most of their products. For their moisturizer sprays it's mostly herb infused water based. It goes on very light. As for HH conditioner. I always push that. They're finally coming out with a 32 oz. jar this saturday. That's going to be my first purchase Im definitely making this saturday.

Just got my sample stuff in and unfortunately I couldnt take the Greg Juice. It has citric acid in it and it makes my scalp burn :-/ Does the Frank Juice has citric acid in it?

I'm not sure, but I don't think it does. I think the Citric acid is for the scent/ storage properties in Greg's Juice, since it smells more citrusy.

Nice video : ). I went to the store for the first time yesterday before Artscape. The whipped pudding is wonderful!! I love the fragrance and the moisture is unbelievable. I used it for a twistout. I'll be returning : )
