  • 5:00 omg myrung aso <3

  • I am asian and I agree that hitting a child physically should not be an excuse for disciplining him or her

  • Verbal abuse and Physical abuse are not disciplines...............simply ABUSE!!!!

  • back in the days, parents in the p.i. punish kids. i myself got punish by my father. it sucks! and i wouldn't do such a thing to my own kids. nowadays though, civilize pinoys don't punish like they used to. may bantay bata na.

  • I think judging all american and british kids as disrespectful and immoral is unfair. It is also unfair to judge that all asians are abusive when not all are into slapping their kids. I agree with impulsive2urge that child discipline should be a 24/7 task of both parents. A good foundation is laid through this. However, the bible talks about spanking as well. Proverbs 13:24,22:15,23:13-15.

But be warned that the bible also warns about abusive spanking Proverbs19:18

  • I'm a filipino and this part of our culture. Elders can lay a hand on the child or a teen if he/she commited a sin. That's how the filipino do it so that the child can learn from his mistakes.

  • @mebite98

We'll that's wrong reasoning my friend. If that is acceptable and humane, then people will always say "hey i'm a filipino i can slap my child if he committed a mistake".

Just like people in Africa where they let their young underage children work for other families and be treated like slaves due to poverty. And for them that's just "right" because it's their "culture".

See? It doesn't mean that an accepted culture in a country is always right. Think.

  • lol, dont worry too much cuz this crazy abusive thing is just a movie scene... im a filipina and my elders, they never lay into me..

  • i want to watch it but the resolution is fuked up.

  • Panu namatay c ryan?bt ni d minute lng pnakta?ganda ng smula pero pangit ng ending!!bwisit na movie 2!!pweee!!

  • pelikula na ito ay nakakatakot

  • abuse is way lot different with DISCIPLINE. yeah right, abuse is never allowed not in any country.not just in the US but also in the Philippines! Look at your children in the US and here in London, THEY HAVE NO MANNERS, NO RESPECT.They have more rights but less morals! having sex at 10. with yeah-but-no-but-yeah attitude. I condemn abuse at any level however, reasonable chastisement is JUST FINE! some kids need special knocking to put their senses together! TRUST ME.

  • No, discipline has limits, shouting to a child is just plain wrong, THERE ARE OTHER WAYS.

The reason these parents shout is because their temper dominates their concern. Now if these parents just take their temper aside and just be concerned and speak to the child it would be better.

If these parents really love their kids, they should spend 24/7 disciplining their kids mildly rather than just disciplining them HARSHLY just in the TIME they do bad things.

  • Yap..that's right..you should never, EVER hurt a child.. MENTALLY, and PHYSICALLY.. a person's outbringing effects their whole life.. US has a great support on this, CPS will take away YOUR own children if they have suspected any abuse..

  • Hurting a child ? WOW, try doing that here in US, you'll be in jail.. ABUSE is never okay..especially,.. CHILD ABUSE.

  • Try "DALAW TEASER"so scary grabe!!!!!

  • OMG no offense im filipino nd sum r like rilly mean nd abusive like b4 not so much now but like wen my mom waz born cuz in dis movie like oh my gosh slapping nad hitting itz just abusive!

  • Learn to articulate and express yourself biaatch!!

  • itz just my opinion GEEEZZZZ u dont have 2 act all dramatic!

  • i agree. asians are bit abusive.

  • no they're not. their disciplinarians. and that's why asian children turn out to be more successful than other races. doctors, engineers. american kids on the other hand ah some but not all turn out ok but others hahaha their are a joke.

  • no, thats not discipline for me, its just too much. Being right is not just about being right, but about the balance of what u like and what is right.

being successful because of harsh upbringing is not a good thing. u must be free, were not obliged to be successful, we are just obliged to NOT DO bad things.

  • @impulsive2urge All i know is that this film is a garbage, a copycat of Psycho in 1960's. We pay to see movies.

  • excuse me?失礼?

    ขอโทษนะ?

실례합니다 im asian im not abusive

  • i'm saying most, not all.

  • ฉันว่าส่วนใหญ่ไม่ทั้งหมด

  • We are not abusive. It's different from each cultures. Disciplining kids will turn out to be a decent people and learn to respect parents. Slapping is not abusive but punching your kid is abuse. What heck is the "time out" for the kids? That's not discipline and it's useless.

  • @tasdiva

That's abusive for me whatever your opinion is. There are other ways my friend. Slapping is the laziest and instant way to relieve your anger towards your son's mistake. If you're a responsible parent you will choose the best option to discipline your child. What does slapping your child give you? Relief of your anger?

Being right should not be bounded by culture, there is a single equation for what is right and wrong.

  • I respect your opinion. I have never been slapped by my parent, but I got discipline by my parents a lot. Spanking but not punching. I never hated my parents for disciplining me because I turned out to be a decent and well-grounded person.
