  • Glad you put on some pants for this one. :P Sounding good!

  • I've the same bass. My NT5 was made in 1990 and is hand made. Incredible bass, trust me.

  • what year thumb is it?

  • What strings are you using? I've had a thumb 5 for years and always disliked the amount of ultra high end I get from it. You're tone on here brilliant!

  • @bobbywingood

Those were Ernie Ball nickel plated standard roundwound strings (medium gauge), but getting rid of the clicky sound is mostly a matter of right hand attack and can be achieved with any strings.

  • When playing on the bride pickup (or the neck pickup...) is the slanted top of the pickup annoying? Does it fit your finger or is it uncomfortable for your thumb? Thanks.

  • @squiresuzuki :

You should have seen on the vid that I use a floating thumb technique : I rarely rest my thumb on the pickup covers.

  • @kascollet Yes I did, but when you play on the pickups, is it uncomfortable?

  • Sounds like Bartolini's. VERY NICE!

  • What p-ups are those?

  • @RonnyOnBass

Just the stock MEC pickups (active, ceramic bar magnet)
