Filmed in the Indian Himalayas and in Canada, it tells the dramatic story of the efforts by Tibetans in exile, including H.H. the Dalai Lama, to save their homeland and preserve their heritage against overwhelming odds.

Lot of Chinese people ask to read history to prove that Tibet has been part of China for thousands of years. Let me tell you this. Does anybody need to read history to understand the reality. How many Chinese are in Tibet before 1949? How many Chinese are in Tibet today. Well over 95% of the Chinese in Tibet today are either immigrated to Tibet after 1949 or born after 1949. If Tibet has been part of China for thousands of years why there was hardly any Chinese in Tibet before 1949????
Tibet was occupied in 1720 by chinese emperor kanxi i think.
But before Tibet has never been part of china. so Tibet has not originally belonged to china!
thats not right that china acclaims Tibet, only because it has once occupied it. that would be the same if the british ´would acclaim all the terretories, which the britsh empire had once ruled, inclusive china. that would not be right or?
Chinese rule in Tibet is built on ethnic inequality and perpetuates a self-serving elite, a groundbreaking new report by Beijing academics has declared.

Thanks for sharing the nice photos. Since you
use the word often, consider this a friendly reminder: The word Tibetan is not Tibetian as
you spelled it.
