nope, not as of yet, the only one close to that is mega man the power fighters with Wily talking about Zero, sooner or later, they got to connect MM to MMX and MMZX to MML or something and im still waiting for that!

well ti probably goes something like this. (A theory I came up with after watching the end to megaman power fighters.) Wily created Zero while developing the scheme which is the plot for Megaman 9. He set a release date for zero after he was done with him hoping that he would destroy megaman with the self destruct thing, while Wily was in jail zero's release time passed and was set free. Bass tried to fight him and was destroyed, then megaman tried to stop him and was severely damaged, (c)

Dr. Light salvaged Megaman and build 'Megaman X' with an insane ammount of improvements with the combined powers of Megaman and some other substance similar to Bassnium. Megaman's memory chips were scrap so he never remembered anything after they were replaced. X was placed in a capsule and was released after Zero's turn to the Maverick hunters......the rest is history.

OH! and protoman doesn't exist because he tried to fight Zero with Megaman and was destroyed, Light then combined parts of megaman with protoman and the other material to create megaman X. That or Zero incorperated Protoman into his system.

wow!!! nice theory man, but i heard a theory that dr.light was updating megaman system... this upgrade will giv x the ability to think or take their own decisions( or something like that... just like the dr.light´s log in megaman x intro) cause he knew that willy was creating a powerfull weapon(zero)

well that probably came along with the new system, a side effect if you so want a robotic explanation. The substance was probably similar to bassnium or whatever Wily used to make Zero only more pure than it because let's face it. Zero was insane before he got his head smashed in by Sigma. Light also wanted to make sure the substance was not going to make X go corrupt so he put him in the capsule to test him. Light was probably 60 when he finished X so Zero was already released.

Then I remembered Proto Man doesn't get to use the shop... it'll still be fun though. Increased power and mobility in exchange for lower defense.
