I must say I didn't know the difference. Now, I understand that the goal is to get as many people arrested publicly for crime in order to bring attention to the injustice of the law. If the story of the day is the violence in the streets, the injustice of the law can be over looked and even strengthened. Disobedience not resistance should be emphasized as the key to all those who wish to overturn any unfair or unjust law. Your goal is to publicly break the law and accept the punishment publicly.
@BiggBrotha No need to be an ass. He referred to Blacks as Kaffirs when he was in South Africa, he was still pro British at the time, and he served as a medic in the Zulu Wars. He changed though, just like how Malcolm X changed. But really, that is irrelevant to the topic of this video.
here is an idea of a misconception: Aliens reaching the solar system would invade earth!! if an alien specie could reach such a level of technology as to travel vast distance of space in short time periods, why would they be interested in earth ? they could get all their minerals and water from all the other planets in the solar system without having to waste their energy fighting us...hell they could suck up the sun's energy if they have the tech for it and leave us in darkness...peacefully
@salimzwein I also severely doubt that any alien that was advanced enough to come here would give two shits about our planet. Even more bizarre is that Hollywood depicts them fighting us one on one, instead of just staying in orbit and blasting us to hell. We wouldn't stand a chance.
@EnigmaHood That's where you're wrong dude. If an alien race ever came to Earth, it would probably be for chlorophyll and proteins. Out planet is the only place in the Universe, that we know of that supports life, animals and plants. Maybe they killed all life in their world like were doing to ours.
@samysasy419 Why would they need that? If they are advanced enough to travel between stars, I have a hard time believing that they don't have more efficient methods of extracting energy from sunlight. I can't imagine why they would want protein of all things, what's the point? In any case, they could probably engineer it themselves if they wanted, after all the vital amino acids are already found on comets and other planets.
@EnigmaHood We havn't proved that amino acids do exist in comets or asteroids, we're just speculating. And I didn't mean that they would need plants for extracting energy from the sun, there are a miriad of other uses for plants and animals, like medicine, food. Plants are good because they fertilize the soil, so we can grow other crops, if they did what we are currently doing to the Earth, than their planet is probably unihabitable. That's why they might try to find another world.
@samysasy419 No, we have evidence that they do, it's not speculation. Why would they need to come all the way to Earth just for medicine or food? If they can't make those things on their own (assuming they need medicine or food in the first place) then they would have never made it out of the stone age let alone be advanced enough to travel between stars. Same goes for needing fertilizer...Are you even thinking about what you're saying? Aliens come to planet Earth for... fertilizer?
@EnigmaHood Are you listening to what I'm saying? If they destroyed their homeworld through pollution or some sort of war or natural catalysmic event, then they might try to find another world that can support life, instead of spending 100s or 1000s of years terraforming another world. I don't know there physiology, but for the sake of the story, lets assume it's like ours. Life is very rare, and space is very vast, it could take them 1000s of years to reach another Earth-like planet, who knows?
@samysasy419 I don't buy it. If they are advanced enough to travel between stars, they are probably advanced enough to have numerous colonies on other worlds already. They don't need to come all the way to Earth just to steal our fertilizer.
if you work for the gvt. or any public institution, if a minority threatens to call you racist, you have to cave. no joke. even if it is totally ridiculous like a black man wanting a free icee at the zoo, it is better to cut your losses than to deal with the aclu on your ass
Not familiar with him. I'm more familiar with the cults that grew out of christianity mostly like People's Temple. But I have a hard time differentiating between cults and religion. Basically the only difference is size, so by definition any leader of a small religion would be a cult leader. As far as I'm concerned, Jesus was the biggest cult leader of them all.
@EnigmaHood I only mention it because apparently, the guy who was tasered had a religious faith in Bahá'í. I just looked it up. It's completely irrelevant, I know. But it's amazing just how many cult leaders there have been over the past century or so, L. Ron Hubbard included.
@EnigmaHood yes, Jesus was a cult Leader. my love interest disagrees, but i still like her a lot! ^-^ her youtube channel is Heartzkingdom...and i forgot the rest. ^^ anyways, will you add her to your friends list EH? btw i enjoy this series.
Hmm, I dono. You should let her know about my channel some time so she can check out my vids. I'm glad you are enjoying the series, more videos on the way.
Sadly, many are quite unaware, and aren't very approachable to being corrected. I make mistakes, but I try to correct them, even when I don't think the students remember or care.
That's right, they weren't criminals, they were freedom fighters. Any law they broke, they did so openly and did not resist arrest when they were arrested. There was no element of stealth or deception or personal gain (like stealing money). It was for a greater cause, freedom.

Except you didn't draw any distinction between the two. The way you describe it, you can quite easily do both and no distinction needs to be drawn.

@CrashSable I think I made the distinction quite clear, no one ever complained about being confused except you, so maybe you're just a dumbfuck.

That's an important distinction that is often not made. I'm pretty sure those idiots teaching in the high school used the terms interchangeably.
