  • the transmission on the 1966-1985 Fiat 124 Sport Spider

    Transmission

    4-speed manual

    5-speed manual

    3-speed automatic

  • I bet a hayabusa motor or F20A or F20C would get this thing moving lol

  • My roomie in college had a red Spider convertible. It rarely ran, slow as anything, and was a rust bucket, but it was so cool to drive with the top down. CIAO!!!!

  • I have a mint 1981 Fiat Spider I bought when i was 15

  • And yet, despite all the problems this car has, I'd give up lots to have it.

  • the engine on the 1966-1985 Fiat 124 Sport Spider

    Engine

    1438 cc I4

    1608 cc I4

    1592 cc I4

    1756 cc I4

    1995 cc I4

    1995 cc I4

    1998 cc I4

  • But mine is a 1979

  • i'm 15 and i own one of these cars, i am fully restoring it.

  • Haha not NEARLY as much rust as my car ;P

  • Hello from sweden,

    I love this car:)

shall I guess that you like SAAB?

  • He's never seen a spider before LOL redrrcks

  • I'm actually selling one like this but in perfect condition and in red, its awesome!

  • Italian cars belong in Mediterranean where they can bathe in the sun and not rust!

  • I'm getting this car haha exept everygood no rust at all! All origanal.

  • I think my mom used to have one of these...

  • A Fix It Again Tony car.

  • A sweet old Pininfarins understated design. It would be great to see thiscar w/a full restoration.

  • @hotelgulf718 we have the pininfarina spidereuropa volumex.. you know, the limited one in perfect shape

  • i like the car rough....

  • FIAT

    Fabbrica Italiana Automobili de Torino

    (Italian Car Factory Of Turin)

Popular U.S. English translation of FIAT

    "Fix It Again Tony!!"

  • I had some friends who had 124 Spiders that they bought new, One set of friends had a maroon '74 Spider with tan top and tan vinyl interior, They kept it until '88, But by that time it had quit running due to inadequate lubrication in the engine and there weren't anymore Fiat dealers around.

  • They own Ferrari and Maserati.

So that's right, they are big in Europe.

  • this was my first car! i didnt like it as much when i had it but i miss it alot now!

  • that gotta be the smallest car i've ever seen that you taped on you're camera looking good anyway

  • this car its really very Romantic , how much did you buy it ! i love it !

FIAT its really make a great design !

  • They are notorious for rust...Just like the british cars of the era and earlier....Poor steel, low nickel content...But the engine was very innovative...

  • Didn't Fiat get Chrysler?

  • I thought the deal went through, I think we should start seeing fiat cars in the next few years

  • @saabkyle04 oh well you won't see anymore the 2.0 and the 2.4 in the Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler. All the compact and the mid size cars will mount the 1.8 turbo multiair, which is powerful and suck less gas. And if you're interested in fiat cars you will see only the 500 that in the north american market it will be sold as Fiat Cinquecento because the italians (me xD) want you to pronounce "Cinquecento" not Five Hundred like the crappy ford :P

  • @saabkyle04 yes it's true..the new fiat 500 and other cars..such as alfa romeo..i think already of 2011..

  • @saabkyle04 and guess what we do!

  • @Goldenrod636 Maybe Fiat buy chrysler

  • once Fiat comes to the USA the price of the old Fiat cars is going sky rocket. The spiders will be more expensive.

  • The meaning of the name F.I.A.T in Italy is "Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino" but in America is "Fix It Again Tony",lol.

  • thats low for that old of car

  • nice little car. even though i prefer a basic top or t-tops <-----(only on a camaro/firebird)

  • how much were they asking for it?

  • haha,i dont.

i pferfer roof ones rather than convertables

  • is it 4 or 6 cylinder??

  • I'm pretty sure it's a 4

  • this made me want to play the getaway LOL

  • hahaha awesome game

  • It looks a little bit like an old MG

  • yeah it does

  • do u like old car?

    roof top ones?

  • oh yeah of course!

  • hood opens forward lolol, remind u of anything? ;)

  • oh yeah, just like that jag we have at the lot! hahaha jk dude, that's like the coolest thing on that buick :P

  • im getting my car detailed and he said it might take 4 HOURS!

  • that's normal

  • These cars aren't ours

  • Ive never seen one either lol

  • Neither have I haha

  • that thing is awesome. We actually have a few fiats around were i live but definitely not very many. Nice find :) Too bad the body is in rough shape, but nothing that isn't salvageable.

  • Sweet but yeah man I've never even seen one before, I guess it's in pretty good shape if it runs and drives, that's a really good thing, body panels can be replaced!

  • Serious Ventilation

  • That's for sure!

  • i see one 2 houses down from where i live some times. all clean.

  • That's sweet, I bet they do look sweet in good shape!

  • Wow! You are so lucky! These are so Rare!!! Only a handful in the US!

  • Sweet man I didn't know that! I've never even seen one before I knew it had to be rare, I bet it's nice all fixed up and with the original steering wheel lol!

  • What's the current price for this Fiat?

  • I wish I knew, I didn't see this one go through lol
