@ThisPersonSaid because i used the smoke simulator to do a more xmen ish render, and its the thing that really helps to sell the shot. All I really did in AE was distortion, composite an ink drop, and a few other various adjustments. Most of the shot was done in Blender. If you needed to, you could probably do this whole shot in the Blender compositior and Gimp.
@UchihaMoonSerenity probably. the after effects part wasn't too hard to pull off, but the Blender part (which wasn't really necessary, looking back) took FOREVER.
@thegreatmuffinkings ya im too lazy to do that. i've only done sound on a couple shorts I've done, but I haven't uploaded them (one I never finished shooting and the other was way too cheezy).
why did you need blender?
