This park was ranked #2 in the world by Golden Ticket Awards for 2010. Why? I've never been. I'd think Disney or Universal or even Six Flags would be ranked higher. I never really heard about this park, so it must just be a local and enthusiast appreciation thing....

@najellin It's a very friendly park, the employees are very very very nice and helpful, free admission, the food is spectacular (especially at the International Food Court, they have a ridiculous amount of good food) and the food was actually featured on the food network.

Just a quick little note the large round building underneath the Sky Ride (space mtn.) is in fact a former picnic pavilion. At one time there where several pavilions in that area many years ago. That was well before the traffic pattern was rearranged and the main access to the park followed the road over the bridge near the Crystal Pool. The former pavilion is used as a storage area. Two of its counter parts are now leading more glamorous lives by the Old Mill, well the roofs are anyway.

My family and I go to Knoebels for a week every year and camp in our motor home. I have been going there since I was around 6 or 7. Actually, we are leaving today to go camping. It is my favorite amusement park. The Phoenix is the best ride ever!!

Just wondering... according to amusement today's golden ticket awards 2006, knoebels was the #3 park in the world. This means beating islands of adventure, all of the disney parks, the busch gardens parks, and plenty of other big ones. Ive never been there, but does it live up to that status? i'm not insulting the park, its just i was so surprized to see it as #3 and its just you really dont hear about knoebels that much.

great job doing this video i have been going for the last 5 years and my group and i always have the last ride on the pheonix before the park closes we have the operator shut off all the lights it is definatly the greatest time at that park i wish i could live there
