hereford cathedral has got a very short rope draught i was a ringer there a long time ago very nice sound out side but very hard to ring

Josephine, it was BredWARDINE which were rehung by Mills and Boon.....

they have just been rehung by hayward mills and they added an extra soundproofing floor. thats why its low

@mjgriff74 Swindon Village, Cheltenham, Gloshas one like this. They are VERY difficult to ring - the sallies keep catching on the pullies, and flipping unexpectedly. 2 & 3 were particularly nasty; 4 was probably the easiest bell.
