can you please explain how did you manage to get a working keyboard and mouse...

becouse when I install OSX I can't get them to work...

I have installed OSX many times on my PC so I now the drill...

What packages did you select during install...

I tried PS2 keyboard fix..but no luck...

I don't understand how can I use the keyboard and mouse during installation but afterwards it doesn't work...

I ran openSUSE 10.2 for a little while and I wasn't to thrilled

so I went back to UBUNTU, upgraded to 8.02

It's quite simple. You have to install Windows XP and then openSUSE. Don't install windows after Linux, because the first one overwrites boot files from the Linux and it won't boot.

see, thats what the linux people don't want. Real linux supporters know their boundaries. Linux is like a peaceful protest. We do not support pirating software so things are free, instead we make a new operating system that is freely distributed. Installing mac on a pc is one thing(I plan on doing it), but pirating software is another.

Marcham is right. Apple's OS X is only legally allowed to run on an Apple certified machine.

Running it on something that isn't Apple = breach of their User License Agreement.

I used to do this on my old PC. I used to boot into windows and use it on my 1 screen and vmware into linux and osx86 and switch between them on my second screen. The machine died though and so I had to remove the hard drive to get it fixed (since it's illegal), so I just still to XP and linux now.

actuly i think you will find it is refered to as both names osx86 and hackintosh. though hankintosh is more commonly refered to the computer once i has osx86 installed

A triple boot is everything else but not this. My Ubuntu linux do the same but faster... You don't need an acronis Bootloader. M$ or linux are using bootloaders simple black and white and they do the same...

Triple booting is than u start 3 os at the same time...

you can do this withoout acronis or if your mbr crashes mbr: 1. install mac os x 2. install xp 3. install linux > when mac os x crashes or you reinstall win xp, on linux in grub configuration file you need add chainloader: find a file and edit it: boot/grub/menu.lst add another chainloder: title MacOSX rootnoverify (hd1,0) makeactive chainloader +1 hda(x, y) - x means is a number of partition where you installed mac os x (1 is first partition), y is number of hard disk (0 is first hdd)

yes, the usb mice can't work, work only toucpad. Wlan can't work with Intel Pro Wireless. You should buy a new usb wireless adapter or pcmcia compatbile airport driver.

2. create part. NTFS PRIMARY for xp

3. install xp

4. install disk director suite 10 with os selector

5. run os selector

6. create another partition FAT32 for macos

7. install macos on FAT32 with HFS+ (erase journal)

8. create 3 partition for linux (EXT3 - root, EXT3 - home and swap) on extended logiical drive

9. reboot

10. put DVD linux, boot with acronis in linux and install linux on these 3 partitions

That's sweet! I have Disk Director Suite 10.0 and I can't seem to find a way to get that nice XP style boot menu you're running. Mine has this nasty looking Win95 style boot menu. How can I get mine to look like yours?

on acronis boot loader look on top right corner here is button with green arrow. just click it and you can use boot loader like xp style.
