I did know she went to Juliard (with Lafayette) so they are probably the most well spoken cast members (not to throw shade at anyone else on the cast.)

In this version you can tell that they are acting...with Rutina, you actually believed that she wanted to slap a bitch..her timing and energy was perfect.

I can see her as tara. We've just become accustomed to Rutina Wesley (who does a great job btw) as tara. But @ first glance the girl in this scene seems too super model-like to play Tara, but when she started acting she pulled it off very well. Still prefer Rutina Wesley as my Tara, shes more real looking and believable.

Rutina's is much better. I love the way she goes over the top with it. Plus the way Rutina does it, it's like, "Hell ya!" That's the way to tell your boss and a pissy customer off. It's secretly what everyone wishes they could do.

Rutina is not beautiful, she sucks, i don't like her .. this first Tara is sooo beautiful, it's sad they didn't cast her, a real eye candy !!!!!!!!!!!! and her acting isn't bad at all! it just differs from rutinas overdone bitchiness :) first Tara was way cooler and at once kind hearted and mature - sure i'm not the only one who thinks same way

This first chick isn't all that great looking either (definitely no Halle Berry) and her acting sucks, which is why they replaced her. You sound extremely ignorant and shallow. And he's right - this actress IS better looking than Rutina Wesley (who is far from ugly herself) and the colour of her skin has fuck-all to do with it.

That post to me makes it very obvious that this chick's looks make her a more passable "actress". How can I play the race card when they're the same race? You mean a caste system.
