Nice work for you....Definitely not Roxette's best work, below their average, a bit uninspired it seems to ME. But you dropped the ball on "after all", one of the better songs of the album I think (stress on the I for the sensitive fans). I am sure they will pick it up on the next one...

I really love the album. After a couple of listens every song grows on me. TYPICAL ROXETTE. I would agree that "im glad you called" isnt their best song but come on dude 3/10 for "in my own way" That is a joke! It's probably my favourite song on the album. Im so glad Roxette havent moved with the times and tried to change. This is so refreshing and I only hope they start recording another album in the near future.

Not a bad album.But Per's vocals- annoying.Each album,which had more per's vocals than Marie's ,sucked. This album is missing acoustic guitar (strings).Marie's voice almost didn't change since her "Change" album.In My Own Way-has a good tune/idea,but still, missing acoustics,strings.Kinda on a light,weak side.Should be remastered/edited.Not a lot of backvocals in this album.Why

Dear Uploader! Thanks for the special selection of sweet songs from my favourite band, a nice accompaniment to my morning coffee. As for the rank of Charm School songs, I don't mind it, I like them all cos they're mostly equally good. But your album preference list is just CRAP. Charm School should be number 3 or 4 cos it outperforms HND let alone RS. These two (HND & RS) are Roxette's weakest albums so Charm School is their best since Crash!Boom!Bang! They've come back to their genuine style.:)

Charm Shool's a good Roxette album but, on my estimation, it is distant from masterpieces like "Have a nice day"... In this work I can't find something VERY special (like, for example, "Stars*)... Without doubt Charm School is the best ROX album since CBB. It has everything in it that thousands of fans have been hoping and waiting for over the last years. It brings tears of joy to my eyes to listen to the new songs. This new album proves that Marie & Per still do what they do best. This is all about love, strength and talent. Thank god everything turned out so well and we have our queen Marie back. These days it's time to celebrate Roxette. They are back on top of the world and I like it!

Rating the albums: I find the opinion about CS unfair becauseu cannot missjudge this album at this stage .... how can u compate it to the iconic ones CBB and Joyride when it has only arrived in our lives so recently? Someone must be insane Anyway: My ratings: 5/10 for RS; 8/10 for CS; 5/10 for Tourism; 6/10 for POP; 7/10 for CBB; 6/10 for HAND; 6/10 for LS; 8/10 for Joyride. None is a bad album at all some had a few more songs fhat spoke closer to me than others that's all.

@rubisuperstar16 I agree with you in ur preferences funny enough when i first heard "Speak to me" I was blown away because it just took back in my memory lane to what I felt when I heard the whole CBB album. I actually feel this songs a lot in common with Crazy About You in some parts though this was only a B side. I like "Sitting" for being the oldest song and reminding me of "From One Heart To Another" and "Never Is A Long Time (Demo" all 3 from 1986 according to Per. I am kinda retro I guess!

I'm not that kind of person that fixes labels and then says: "Oh, I am this or I am that". xD I just know I like Roxette and end of the story. ^_^ I'm a huge fan of Roxette, even though I only have one album bought "The ballad hits". I got so but so in loved. They sing in harmony and we can feel the lyrics, specially from Marie. She has a divine voice and makes anyone tremble from head to feet (my opinion).

I agree one one thing.... joyride is the best album of Roxette ( but I never really like joyride song too much, but the rest of the album is a candy !!) @bacardy330 I can't say Joyride is the best album because in each album there is always for like 4 or 5 songs that stuck out tell me stories from each year it came out that ... more important for me than just the musicality of the album is what the album means for each fan or listener and I guess that is the main reason why Per and Marie do the music they believe in: not to be better than Joyride or CBB it's just to be about what they feel at the moment whether we relate to it or not.

@sonotantobello Plus: CBB was a huge mature album probably too mature but CS pays a nice homage to that maturity by bringing some elements of that album into some of the new songs. If anyone who trully has a musical ear and can call himself or herself a Roxette fan will definitivelty identify those vibes within this album. It takes more than drums and guitars to be a great Roxette album: it must have a heart and we all need a heart to feel it. It's up to you at the end of the day :)
