@papermariodude no, but they fit into the SNES. as I know, NES uses the common wires with the same 3 plugs on both ends. Those cables are very easy to find, very common and very cheap.

You know...I used to always play this game and I used to just use the other controller to control the pipes, but I always wondered what controlled the pipes. That seems a little complex considering the fact the nintendo was so simple. Does it randomly choose a button?

I never got one. What's he doing with the gyro discs? How does it affect the Gameplay?

The puts the gyro discs into the spinner so they can spin on the blue and red pedals. The blue and red peddles do down a long stem, to hit the A or B button. The red pedal controls the red pillars in the game, and the blue pillars control the blue pillars in the game. You need to move the pillars to go through the level and collect bombs before time runs out, and you control him by hitting start, and depending on what button you hit, he moves in that direction, or opens and closes his hands.
