There are a bunch of legends about wing tsun or chun but extending the elbows is generally good for hand strikes but I'm not sure about this case, I don't do it and I'm not a black belt, in karate you extend elbows
@KickAssFan2010 i do not believe so, wing chun is based off efficiency, and so its fast (yet still strong), repetitive, and accurate punches is what will cause damage.
eh-ehm - I MUST intervene - WING CHUN was born created by a buddist nun named Nig Muy (the spelling of the name is a bit off) however she created it after observing a Fox and a Crane in battle - she named it after a young female student of hers! or so the LEGEND says!
@lazarush1980 there are more than one "legend" as to how wing chun came about..there is even one about a man creating it..but there is no proof to any of it, so there's no real point in arguing about it lol
