things like this [banning of channels] would surely happen once some greedy businessmen come into picture and start sorting things up in order to cash in. i hate to think that one day we will wake up to find out that youtube is no longer for free!
if they really wanted to stop copyright infringement in youtube, they might as well close the entire site as most posts in youtube are infringements of their owner's/artist's copyright. i personally do not understand why youtube would zero-in only to those people who are infact making youtube as exciting and as entertaining as posible.
