Yes, Donkey Kong was Mario's debut game, but Super Mario Bros was a revolutionary leap forward in game design and is often credited for pulling the North American video game market out of the crisis it met following the video game crash of 1983.

They don't insert Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2 and Yoshi's island, because they aren't related to the Super Mario Bros. Series, They don't insert Super Mario: The Lost Levels because it was relased onli in Japan (not counting Super Mario All-Stars and the virtual console). Mario Kart, Paper Mario, Super Mario RPG ecc are sub-series

well this celebration is for SUPER MARIO hes birth is in 1985, the main character of donkey kong is named mario only MARIO and no have relation with the mario's saga of 1985
