The 60,000 children that die each and every day say otherwise. Any god that would hide deadly pathogens and parasites in drinking water is sick.
He could have made them visible to the naked eye so children could avoid ingesting them, but he chose to make them invisible so children would inadvertently ingest them and die.

It is a Wonderful Song, But don't dwell on it to long, There is plenty to do here on earth. It matters not if your time here is long or short. There is always Gods work to be done until the day we die. I believe it to be a trick of Satan to get veteran Christians more focused on leaving this earth so that they will stop focusing on doing Gods work. It is in the tri-light of our lives that we are the most Influential to those around. Even at deaths door God can still use us to reach others.

The 60,000 children that die each and every day say otherwise. Any god that would hide deadly pathogens and parasites in drinking water is sick.
He could have made them visible to the naked eye so children could avoid ingesting them, but he chose to make them invisible so children would inadvertently ingest them and die.
Any god that would purposefully kill millions of children each months is cruel and malevolent.
If your omniscient god is real he chose to do these things.

@god666er God created a perfect universe, including Lucifer. Sin came into Lucifer's heart and he fell taking one-third of the heavenly angels with him. Satan then tempted Adam and Eve and cause them to fall. Once Adam and Eve sinned, they passed on their sin nature to their offspring. All the sickness, suffering, etc. you see is the result of sin. God has given us a way out. Jesus came to die to pay the sin debt, but we have to believe on Him in order to be saved.

If there is a God, then who am I to pass jugement on anything He does. His actions and will are "good", by definition. He defines "good" and by extension, "evil". "Evil is anything contrary to His will, again, by definition. If my understanding can not cope, I shouldn't be surprised. After all, He is God, I am not.

@kpdsza - really? You never heard of original sin? A god sets up Adam and Eve knowing they will fail the test and punishes the rest of the world throughout history with sin. The same sin that you claim is responsible for the suffering of innocent children that haven't sinned at all. god is the father - the son is Adam and Eve - the daughter is all the victims of sin. Why would a god perpetually punish humanity for the mistakes of two people? Let alone all the animals he tortures.

If you really care to know the nature of God, read Romans 9 starting in verse 13. The bottom line is who are we to judge God? We are nothing apart from the saving grace of Jesus.

@kpdsza - you don't follow analogies very well - adam and eve were punished for committing the original sin which introduced sin into the world and causes all the horrors of the world. Your god is punishing all of humanity for the mistakes of two people. And you worship a creature that would be so cruel and sadistic as to purposefully do this - he knew from the start that Adam and Eve would fail yet he punished them anyway and created all the diseases and pathogens he knew would torture children

@god666er In your flawed analogy Eve was innocent and punished for the crime of another. While their sin introduced death to the world, no one is innocent. No one! ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Have you read Romans, chapter 9 yet?
You also need to keep in mind that no one has ever suffered more than God Himself, on the cross. God is neither cruel nor sadistic, He takes no pleasure in the consequences of sin.

To think a few hours on a cross is suffering more than a child with brain cancer that suffers for years in horrific pain before dying prematurely is most certainly delusional. To think a few hours on a cross is more horrible than a child being brutalized by her father for years upon years - raped and beaten. @god666er Not the original design. However, the earth changed (the curse of sin that all of creation groans under) after the fall. If you read the bible, you would know that. However, God is omniscient. He knew what the result of the curse would bring.

And as I've stated over and over he doesn't just allow suffering - he actively creates suffering millions of times a day. He creates the tapeworm that tortures the child to death FULLY aware his creation will torture the child to death. Millions of children are tortured to death each month from his deliberate creations.
