The live show is even more intense than the albums though. They re-interpret many of their songs just for the stage, which makes for a unique show every time. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that Grizzly Bear is a better live band than on album.

@osufan77 I saw them at Lollapalooza. It was a bit hard to get into it though because there were soo many people. And it was slightly distracting when crowd surfers were falling on your head. Crowd surfers during Grizzly Bear sounds a bit crazy, but there were haha. I want to see them in a more intimate atmosphere though. It seems like it would be a spiritual experience.

It all depends on your mood and personal preferences, but I think their music is really nice for when you feel calm/laidback or just need something to listen to while concentrating on other things... it's like comparing the hip-hop you hear on the radio now and the old-school hip-hop which tends to be wayyy more laidback.
