Beautiful SW-3. I had forgotten the beauty of regenerative receivers being able to demodulate am,fm and sideband. It surely takes some practice to operate one. Thanks for posting this.

I notice that those coils plug at the in and also onto it's nearby top-tube anode. No warning labels or safety interlocks. One had to turn it off for a while to let the caps drain, no? I build a regen with an MPF102, but this looks like just as much fun plus it keep you warm in the winter.I have inherited a National 240D boat anchor. They are well built. 73 de WW2W Tony

Love the video. Can you steer me toward a schematic so I can build an audio amp like yours? I have searched online, but only come up with plans for hi-fi stuff. I just want a amplified speaker like what you have. Thanks!!

To be honest--that "old timer "does remarkably well.

You are correct. Have you read "Empire of the Air?" I did. It is a shame that the likes of Emerson, RCA, and others (especially Sarnoff) were responsible for doing this guy under. I'm glad his wife Miriam, prevailed against these thugs.
