Of course the edge deforms on impact. But as you just said, it deforms, not chips; or, however there are some chips too, but they have the shape of the hitted rock and look more like stamped than chipped and all deformations are small; the tested edge is not the factory edge, but a more thinned one also. My purpose is not to advertise for or against something, but to let people see the truth and the reality. I was at home, of course I had sandals and socks. What's the problem with that??

I really don't understand this video. If it is supposed to show the benefits of Busse' wonder steel INFI it fails as the edge quite clearly deforms on impact with the pebbles. If it is an anti Busse and INFI video, again it fails a knife is made to cut not hit rocks with and as such is an unfair test of the product. And as a final remark I would not trust the opinion of anyone who wears sandals and socks at the same time.

It is not advertising for or against something. It is a fact. That is what happen with the knife when it (accidentally or not) hits rocks. The rock is the hardest thing a knife can hit accidentally. And the edge here was reprofiled to a thin profile and shaving sharp before hitting those rocks in full as hard as I could.

Just do that with any other knife sharpened the same way and see what happens. Most of them will chip like glass, other will roll like hell. This one had the edge only slightly deformed.

Regarding my sandals and socks, LOL, do you always dress up especially before doing something with your knife?? The knife behaviour does not depend on the clothes you have on yourself.
