Yeah, sci-fi doesn't seem to be on as much as it used to. Probably because TV is too full of vampires, ghosts, demons, reality tv and other crap like that. There are way too many reality shows on tv right now, IMO. Frankly, I watch tv to escape real life, not to bathe in it.

@deathxemo999 It's not so much that they aren't up to date, as it is that they purposely place the kino videos at random time periods throughout the show. They don't go in order either.

im all for stargate continuing but this is not stargate:P ive followed it from the start, and if i can say if it didnt have stargate in the title i wouldve stopped watching over a year ago, so if anything id rather them completely scrap this and do some direct to dvd atlantis or sg1 movies, or even finish their stargate mmo

@tiagom135 Yeah, I like it too, the series's always looked GREAT, and the plots are just getting to be interesting, so it is a shame really. SF's just not very popular as a genre right now.

I was looking for some SF stuff to watch, and I could find almost nothing. I watched Batllestar Galactica, and it's OK, but it felt kind of soap-operish. So now I think I'll go back and revisit Star Trek with Captain JEAN-LUC PICARD! :)

@tiagom135 uh...they didn't...last I knew they were in the mid season break, last new episode aired on November 30th but the rest of the season is all filmed and everything just not rolled out yet...no dates given for when its returning either but hey KEEP THE FAITH!

It doesn't have anything that made SG1 and SGA brilliant, and it takes itself way too seriously.

I don't care who's seeing who, or who's cheating on who with who back on Earth or who's pregnant and I doubt many other SG fans do. If they did, the ratings would've been higher and it would've lasted longer than 2 series.
