@joelakastud123 van halen and hendrix are a little different in so far as the 'feeling' goes. Hendrix is arguably unsurpassed there, but yes his technique was surpassed far before he picked up a guitar. Who knows what he may have become had he lived longer. I personally dont understand how anyone could say either jimi hendrix or paco de lucia play without feeling.

( is it p(up)-m(down)-p(down)-p(up)-m(down)... etc ? or maybe i(up)-a(down)-i(down)-i(up)- ... ? i don't know if there are any names of rasgueados ;p )

@ThisIsCleverUsername it's p(up)-m(down)-p(down) and so on...this is a traditional type of rasgueado ...but the first rasgueado that was accepted was the downstroke rasgueado starting with the ring finger.

Paco wanted to go beyond the limits of flamenco. so he learned to improvise according to harmonic rules like jazz players do. But I agree, this clip is really great, I love it too.
