I agree, Death Cab is way better, but the voice timbre is similar to Owl City in many ways. One way it's different, however, is that the auto tune used in Owl city is jarringly apparent. With Death Cab, the first time I heard the band, I wasn't sure whether it was used or not

I think that Owl City and Death Cab are both good games. I really love Owl City in fact, and I believe the only reason the people who like Death Cab on here are downing on them is because of how they made it big. They became one of those radio bands, but they are still very good.
I really don't think the two can be compared. People are downing on Owl City because they're a band that's been around that long. They've only been on the go a little over 3 years, and have 3 albums of which only 1 song really stands out. Most of their music is electronic (Which I don't personally have a problem with but some people don't see it as 'proper' music) Death Cab have been since 97, 6 albums and every song is lyrically brilliant. I really don't think the two can be compared

no need to get so defensive. that's just my opinion on where they're going. i hate twilight and MTV......mainly any major publicity. not so much of what it is but what it does to good indie bands like DCFC. im not upset for their decisions im upset because its going to change them in ways that makes me not want to listen to bands anymore
