Hello, after viewing several videos from you I think u're the right man to ask.

I bought the viewty a few days ago and I have a problem when recording in 120fps mode :l idk why but my camera just records dark and fuzzy when that option is selected. Maybe you could help me in this matter. Any idea if and how i might fix this?

@Ogaru i've had this problem too. to fix it you have to got to 'mode' then put it on 'night mode' just before you record your video.. i hope this helps please subscibe me

apparently you can have up to 8gb, aslong as before you put it in your phone you fill it until there is 2gb left, therefore you have 6gb of used memory and 2gb free space. same with the 4gb and 6gb

We love the Viewty here and think that it is a great phone with excellent features such as the Divx Video recording and playback, slow motion recording, image and movie editor and much more. Our's has lasted a while and as you can imagine we put our through its paces. It doesn't scratch easily - just put the screen protector on the front screen and you'll stay strach free :)

Hi,

Thanks for reply. The phone is going well. My phone came as the ku990R which i think may be a pretty recent model as it has a lens protector on it, which I havent seen on a viewty before. I contacted LG who said the beeping/double beeping from the charger was normal and if this was annoying just to charge using the usb cable. This works great. The phone charges slightly quicker, but still takes 3.5-4 hours for a full charge. Delighted with phone and no probs so far.

Just got my viewty ku990R today and really pleased so far apart from these two small concerns. Could you tell me, how long does it take to fully charge the phone initially? I'm now into the fourth hour and it's still charging.

Why does the phone keep beeping at random when the phone is on and charging? Ive had to switch it off because it got annoying. Sorry but can't see anything in user guide re: above. Thks!!

The reason for the bleeping is to inform you that the handset is fully charged and it wants you to remove the charger. It could be trickle charging which just means topping up the battery but not for 4 hours - we admit this sounds a bit strange.

Unfortunately the 4GB memory cards are not supported by the Viewty as it will only recognise the first 2GB's.

Our reccomendation is for ease of use use only 2GB MicroSD card :)

You can put text in your videos but its limited to so many characters 10-15 if i remember correctly.

To do this watch our video editing suite video - when in editing mode tap the T for text key and this will enable you to write text on the screen.

It could be difficult due to the fact that the handsets OS os Flash using the Java platform so the program would need to be in Java really. We'll have a prowse round on the web ;)

You can record in slow motion directly from the handset. By going in to video camera mode and tapping the 120fps option in the top right of the screen and choosing on allows you to record at 120fps (slow motion).

If so all you need to do is use the camera slider and slide it into the middle > tap the big sliver camera key > Tap the top right option called 120 fps > Select On/Yes

Unfortunately this handset doesn't have this kind of feature. We do know however that Samsung are the ones of whom traditionally have this feature on their handsets - it's on the F480 Tocco for instance.

Nokia N95 Black has an all round rating of 'Good' because it performs well for voice calls giving 75.7 db which is loud, 66.2 db for music and 70.5 dc for ringing tone.

Oh also, if you're listening to music and you put it in your pocket, don't just put it on regular keylock; for some reason this mode will use up a lot more battery power than is necessary, instead, use the multi-tasking menu to bring you to the Home screen, and then unlock it. This turns off the screen and saves power in my experience.

Well the Apple iPhone is a great device in terms of the software however features wise we found it to be limited - no 3G (We know the 3G variant is coming), 2mega pixel camera, iTunes only compatible, restricted ring and message tones, etc.

However we would like to state that there are many good things on the iPhone - Browser, touch technology, memory, music and video player, screen technology.

The Viewty is a fantastic handset and one of our favorites because .....

...of the 5 mega pixel camera, editing suite for both pictures and movies, lens technology for the camera, 3G support, plug and play - no software needed to copy music, expandable memory, document reader, haptic technology - the screen vibrates when you touch it and much more.

We know that Apple like to future proof their devices hence the reason why the iPhone can be updated and a lot more features have become more accessible to their users. The two are aimed at different markets .....

iPhone = internet, music and video fans.

We choose the Viewty because we love picture and video editing not to mention the DivX support for both recording and playback and how can we forget the 120fps slow motion video recording.

We have tried their themes and they work well although the process is a bit longwinded. Following their instructions could invalidate your warranty.

No equalizer on the viewty and sorry unfortunately you can not play the radio aloud - only via the supplied earphones.

When you say louder, in terms of music or ringtone?

I think that the ringtone volume on the SE is slightly louder than the Viewty but the ringtones on the Viewty are pretty loud.

The Viewty has the impressive stats of 3 seconds to boot up the camera, shoot to preview is 4 seconds.

To take faster pictures you will need to adjust the settings but the fast we reckon you could get it down to is 3.5 seconds.

We say get the Viewty. The whole experience is much better plus the multimedia functionality is superb!

However it does depend on what you are looking for. I would say that the Viewty has haptic technology which is th vibrational response you get when touching the screen which makes using the handset a pleasure whereas the Prada does not have this technology meaning you get no response when touching the screen plus you can only use your fingers to touch the screen.

Viewty - 5 mega pixel camera, strobe flash (similiar to xneon), full image and video editing suite, google application support, haptic technology, 4 ways to input text, better web browser, bigger internal memory, etc, etc

Prada is a nice phone, extremley stylish and to be fair it was the UK's first mobile phone function only touch screen device. So many improvements has been made since its launch which has resulted in the release of the Viewty.
