Every year the fia will try to reduce the costs thats why now they want to change to 1.6 liter v6, now i miss a lot the v10 the dobule diffuser and the f duct. 2010 monza pole lap: 1.21.9, 2011: 1.22.2 and the best time 1.21.0 in 2004. I ll love to see the v10 s back and all 2010 aerodynamics regulations with KERS and DRS.
@CitizenZon3 i know that, but it would not be the same f1, i mean every historical or great track is taken out by tilkes tracks, that are horrible, this is one of the reasons because all tilkes tracks are all of high speed corners
@joni0493 360? Today's top speed was 349.2 km/h, set by Perez. And the highest speed of one of the teams you mentioned, was 342.3 from Felipe Massa. And don't forget they had the F-duct last year, which helped them getting higher top speeds also.
I don't think that you can notice the difference between 360 and 340 km/h from your TV. 20km/h difference is nothing in those speeds cause it's same for everybody. You are complaining about top speeds more than F1 drivers and you don't even drive those cars lol :D
@toureyaya24 if you want good sound, go to hear a concert.
F1 is about racing and not about sounds, and i tell you the sound was and still is very annoying to hear for an hour and a half if you actually go to watch it at the circuits.
@nixxxon18 stfu, I've been to a race and the only thing I can conclude from your reaction is: you're someone who LIKES F1. Don't think you're someone who LOVES F1.
@nixxxon18 DUDE WTF, learn to read for christ's sake... I said: The FIA has lowered the engines too much, then saatana4 says: there isn't much different though, then I say: no, but the biggest difference of those enginechanges is the sound of these engines. Then YOU START CRAPPING around about how I have to go to a concert for good sound? Point is: you're an idiot who doesn't try to understand the context of comments and just tries to be a retard in every F1 video. Get a life
@toureyaya24 no i dont im just arguing, you apparently hate when someone disagrees with you on something, chill the heck out. The FIA did lower the power of the engines for a reason. They were too fast and too expensive. Too fast that they couldnt even overtake, and too expensive that the modest small teams couldnt survive.
@nixxxon18 if you get tired of the sounds those cars make then your not a true F1 fan... its all about the racing i agree totally with you there, but the sound is amazing, i went to monza last year and omg there is nothing that compares to the sound of a F1 car, especially when it drives off into the distance and you hear it howl
@TwonkTwink maybe in monza it sounds cool when they go away into that long straight, but at the circuit de catalunya its not cool, there is just noise everywhere because its a compact circuit, when you are hearing it for 1 hour it becomes really annoying
He goes sooooo near that white line! Still, people are complaining about F1 loosing it's sound... Seriously, shut it! Formula One is about racing, not about noises!
@Ferrari123planb oh yes i agree with you the cars a so ugly today , before 2009 they looked so beautiful, but i read the teams now also want smaler wings, they want to go back to the old body skits
@8kuh where did you read that.. i miss the old f1 cars and there sounds. F1 is still amazing today and faster but back then the cars were beyond good looking but now there ok

The FIA are t***s! FFS we should have at least the old V10 if not V12. I'm an out and out petrol head so I want W16 engines in F1. Those engines were a beast to look at forget even contemplating to rev/drive. They would scare the s**t out of Lewis Hamilton and Vettel & co who have only driven the V8's. Stupid FIA. F1 is never gonna be green and it has always been a sport that while showcasing what is technically possible, those innovations have been to do with efficiency and above all speed!
@kwl189 If you gave an F1 engineer a free reign when it came to engine design he would make a very small 4 or 6 cylinder turbo engine, V12s and W16s went the way of the dodo because they are obsolete technology. People need to understand that the FIA have a massive responsibility to keep the cars performance within a certain window or they really are too fast and to do that they need to reduce power and downforce every so often given the rate of development.
@supercas46 He wouldn't always go with a 4/6 cylinder turbo, sure its smaller and more fuel efficient but he would get trounced by the bigger more powerful engines . The cars don't need to always be kept within a certain window by any means. F1 is already safer now then it has ever been. You only have to look at Kubica's accident at Montreal 2007 to see how far we have come. I don't believe in dumbing down the power and downforce at all despite the development rate.
@kwl189 It's been proven that the turbos are the better and more powerful option by a long way, in late 80's all the front runners used turbo engines by choice despite the boost restrictions they had, they were banned because they were too powerful. Since then the rule changes have kept power within about 700-1000hp, F1 has always been about getting the maximum from a certain set of rules and sometimes those rules change as car performance clearly has to be controlled.
@supercas46 Ah yes the 80's :) now those we some good day ;)
Yeah the rule have kept the HP between that range, though I am in a disagreement about that. There is no such thing as 'too powerful'. Frankly the machine from the 80's scare me more then the machine of today. One thing I will say about the rule changes is that they have made the cars handle a hell of a lot more better then back then. Look at on board footage and see how much flatter and better through the corners today's cars are.
@mrhighspeedtrain The FIA put big bollards on the outside of the kerbs to both chicanes, in an attempt to deter drivers from cutting them too much. It was a response to the 2007/8 obsession, which continues today, with what constituted 'staying on the track' during an overtake etc.
I agree with you, visually and skill-wise, the drivers attacking the kerbs was exciting to watch, there's a video of Lewis Hamilton from 2007 wrestling his MP4-22 over them, sliding and controlling the read end
@Henkkaaa89 i agree with you mate and this sport is getting ruined by all the rich people and all the talanted rookie drivers are paying the heavy price i say we boycott bernie and the fia and bring back the V10's
In fact only BMW use inline 4, other use V6. But I think inline 4 has a potential because in's hard to get power from inline 4 in very strict rule, so it will be a good race for engine builder to make their engine better than other.
AVANTI FER!!!!!YOU ARE THE BEST AND YOU ARE THE NEW LEGEND OF F1!!THE TWO CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH THE RENAULT ARE NOT ENOUGH TO PROVE HOW BIG YOUR TALENT IS!!!!!!!!YOU ARE STH ELSE...........
@toureyaya24 My only hope is that bloody turbine... I mean, they could get almost 1,3 Kbhp out of thei turbocharged engines back there... So who knows.
If you ask me, they could limitate to 1.6 turbo, but at least a 6 cylinder power plant, for the queen's sake!
@toureyaya24 Yeah it is a shame but they did it for a reason and it was to bring in more engine manufacturers. For example, Honda doesn't really need to have a V10 engine for their road cars so there's no point spending all that money developing one for F1 when they can't apply it to their products. As soon as they announced the 2014 engine formats Ford, BMW, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and even Chevrolet have begun to show interest. It's a shame but a necessary one to secure the sport's future
alonso takes only 338 km/h in pit straight with the f-duct and very very light. In 2005 with the v10 montoya takes 360 km/h with fuel for 20 laps and without f-duct. Fuck fia

@MrClaud789 yeah but buemi reached 348 kmh.... that was the top speed that weekend even that was slow... against 360 kmh :(
