  • It is said here that the organ will first be ideal for North German music. But in fact Mr. Yokota the organ builder has specifically said that the Schnitger organ of the Charlottenburg Schloss on which the Cornell organ is based was an example of Arp Schnitger building in Central German style per the requirements of his Berliner clients. So this is really first a Central German organ, and as such should be very suitable for the music of J. S. Bach.
