actually if you place 2 more tacks or small nails in the front, right under the rubberband in such a way that the spoon can go loosely in between the nails... you will be amazed how far the marshmallows will go!!! Because of the resistance the nails create against the rubberband, and hence creating more force and velocity!! Just did it today with my family!!

Me and my class made catapults and we shot golf Balls we made ours out of pvc and bungey courds and on of my class matdes shot ther golf ball about 50 yards it was fun and cool
