Balloon Festival 2006

Just moved home to Centralia, looking forward to this years balloon festival.

I've only went to this thing once, I guess you have to aquire a certain taste for these things.. I'm more of a fast paced person.. The day I did go, I did come out with some great photos of the space shuttle balloon.. After about 45min of me taking pictures of it.. It caught fire over by wal-mart..

I am the pilot of the balloon with the mystery board - That holds the local area map that shows where we are supposed to fly (and where we are NOT suposed to land. My thanks to jim32034 for creating this video!

And thank you for an experience of a lifetime. My only regret is I didn't get to fly in a balloon during that weekend.  It would have been a blast!

I have been ballooning for 18 years now , and I am sorry to say it , but I have no idea what that piece of board was sticking out from the side of the balloon in the middle of this video .... any ideas ???
