To me, you look like your showing how your "supposed" to be feeling, rather than just trying to be in the moment. How much work did you put into this? Maybe you should find more justification for why your saying the things your saying. I mean, it seems like your heart should be breaking, but you seem rather mundane about it.
@KayKay114 fair enough. this was my first monologue performance. i did this many years ago when i was still a little green. but i appreciate your feedback.
@blastedd4 uhm, i'm sorry... but first of all its a monologue. it's fake. i was acting.
second of all, you don't always have to look at the camera's for a monologue. in fact, when do you ever see actors in movies looking at the camera when performing their lines? close to never. so please mind your buisness unless you know what you are talking about.
Very nice, the only thing is your eyemovement (when you "stare him in the eyes" and then for a split second look in a different direction, then back at "him"). People that lie do that moviement in their eyes, because they are afraid of eyecontact. So by doing that, that slight movement makes your acting pretty fake. I had that issue before but then I practiced in the mirror and then got it. U should try that or else your acting will seem like a lie.

Contrary to popular belief, most people don't have their monitors turned on their sides. I know it sounds crazy, but for some strange reason, most people actually have their monitors sitting right-side up. Go figure...
Stop playing with your bangs, and moving your head to get them out of your face. Put them up and mabey play with a bit of your longer hair, but not your bangs. Make sure that you are really feeling what you want to say. But it is really good!
Pull the camera out so we can see more of you- your facial expressions are alright (more feeling may benifit) and some more hand gestures would be good. Maybe swipe your hair back with one hand, bite a nail, some business. It's good, but that doesn't mean it can't be great. Good luck!
i thought it was pretty good. not incredible, but not bad either. i think you'd benefit from having someone else film you. half of every performance is in the camera work. if you had a slow zoom in on your face itd be more dramatic.
this was really good! but i think it would be better if it was right side up and like you set the scene like with a guy and you were at a table and such
OMG THAT WAS SO SHORT YET SO GOOD!!! IT'S OBVIOUS YOU ARE TALENTED!! THANKS FOR SHARING!

Very, good.
But you're talking to Jake, not to the floor.
Look at who you're talking to.
Keep eye contact with the person (or space)
