@mayamanign Unfortunately it is impossible to get heave with 2 actuators, you would need 3. With 2 actuators we can get roll and pitch but not heave. Did you install the D-BOX drivers? Make sure you go to the control pannel and set that you have a 2 rear actuator platform, it will optimize the motion effects for the platform. IMO I feel more effects (more intense).
There are 2 actuators at the back so no the front is not moving. But having the back actuators go down is the same as having the front go up, having the back actuators go up is the same as having the front actuator go down. So with 2 actuators you can do pitch and roll without any problem but you cannot do heave because, as you said, front cannot move. D-BOX sells systems with 3 or 4 actuators but as you can expect it is more expensive.
@JFJEDI thanks for the response. I just bought an SRP-120 used. Hopefully i don't have any problems with it. Is yours still running OK? Also, I'm running a VisionRacer VR3 which is 63 inches long. Looks like the Dbox platform only extends about 40 inches. Is there any way of extending the platform to fit all the way to the front of my VisionRacer? I was thinking of using a plank of plywood.
@mayamanign Yes it still works fine. It doesn't really need maintenance since it is an electric motor (no hydrolics). Originally it came with 2 parts (one longer, the other shorter) so that you could use the one that would better fit your chair. Did yours, since used, came with both? You can use wood to extend it without any problem but make sure it doesn't bend because if it does, it will damp the motion and the experience won't be as good I think.
@JFJEDI Thanks Jedi. Mine did not come with the longer piece and in fact had the entire rear assembly spot welded. I guess the original owner decided it wasn't ever going to move. Soooo I've used 3/4" Pine panel to extend to the front pivot point another 22" I haven't tried it yet but it should be fine. Can't wait to finish this platform. If you message me I'll send you some pics to your email. :)
Finally got everything up and running today, just awesome! How do you get more heave when braking out of the two actuator model?

Just installed mine today. Kinda tricky getting in as the entire chassis tilts to one side.

This video is quite old but I had a question. How is the Dbox raising the front of the chair if it only has to actuators? Thats pretty nuts.

The D-BOX SRP-120 is $3600 and they announced a new gaming chair at last CES to be released in May (I think) for $3000 (that one includes the seat).
