I really didn't like this song on the C.D. because of the singer, I mean I thought she had a beautiful voice and all but I just didn't like it. Lisa is the Chicago Elphaba now. I've never seen her in person but she does have a beautiful voice. I actually prefer the "mature" voice. SJB is in the same range, Mezzo-soprano. Just personal taste, I guess.

This song is so beautiful, Scott. Really, it is. Eden's version of this song is actually the only thing that I really like from her, and hearing it from Lisa...it's just amazing. The lyrics are so powerful, and the emotion these women put into their performances...you are truly blessed to have such wonderful women singing your amazing work.

Scott, I love that Lisa makes you want to put 'Magic' back into 'Piece'. I fell in love with this song a long time ago when I heard Julia sing it (I still have a copy on Cd from your Piece MySpace). Then I heard Eden sing it and fell in love again. But after hearing Lisa I don't know what I would do if 'Piece' finally opened and 'Magic' wasn't a part of it. Scott, this song is amazing. Please don't turn your back on it.
