Man, Brothers Past was, along with Max Creek, a perfect unquestionable mind-blowing show every single time I saw them, on different levels and different in a different state of mind. I so would love to see BP once a year for the rest of my life.
dont get me wrong illy sure could hold his own,and was a big fan of om trio.but didnt blow me away like rick can,in combination with toms production, beats, and the down right utter brilliance they had going.but it just wasnt the same.from the speed and precision(monsters),to the electronic dynamics in tracks like a(wounderful day^,celebrity,be the ball).or even ricks guitar skill in duke illington.i was still a bit pissed of ricks departure 5 months ago,and didnt mean to bash.NYE!hes back!extras?
Dude, Rick kinda does suck. He is not a good drummer, just like some of the other guys aren't that great at what they do either. Which is why they failed.
PSH cant even compare Babies to BP...now way. This is Tommy and all of them were at their finest. Oh man do I miss BP throwdowns more than anything. Band used to play with such passion...so much energy. Hope they come back sometime soon...we are all still here waiting.

They're on hiatus. I'm friends with Tom, and he says that they will get back together this summer or sometime close.

I'm not that big a BP fan, but Tommy is a good songwriter (check out American Babies if you haven't yet) and he sure knows how to play guitar.
