Let this be a lesson, you can not have less freedom in a sequel. Armageddon is a great game, but why would they limit you by so much. It would have been much better to have an expansion pack for Guerilla that give you the repair gun and have the improved combat

Never played a RED FACTION game. until i went to get DEAD ISLAND and it was out of stock. but there was ARMAGGEDON sat on the shelf for£9.99. so i picked up a copy not knowing what it was gonna be like. and what a pleasant surprise. i think it,s a very well made game. especially in todays climate. cough cough F1 2011. all hype no substance. well too many bugs for a AAA title. but yeah really like armaggedon. thinking of going back for Guerrilla. After watching this, I'm glad I didn't buy this game. I loved Guerilla, but this looks like it could get a little redundant, over, and over, and over. In my opinion, save your $50-$60 bucks, and go buy Guerilla at your local game store, used, for just like $15, and you'll have twice the fun, for 3/4 the price!!

Worst red faction ever. Completed in 4 hours. You can run with magnet gun from start to finish line and half the time you dont have to shoot the aliens. It gets boring fast! same tunnels all the way.. except at beginning, 60% done and the end where you get 10 minutes outside. No free path selection. All the way you can only go 1 way. No choises.

Great game. I thought the linear levels would be a backward step but this game is better for it. Red Faction Guerilla had it's moments but sufferd from the open levels being boring. Maske the levels linear and fill them with enemys to blow to pieces. What's not too like???
