Keep in mind, that it takes something like five years for girls' breasts to develop, starting at like ... age 9 or 10, and maybe leveling off by age 15 or something, maybe. Even so, it's a slow process. I've seen a few videos where trans women seem surprised that breasts aren't coming in as fast.

Psychosomatics... in my theory, it´s the psychie that realy brings out the mones effekt. And the voice. I have absolut no control over mine, it pops up sporadicly and is very different from my male one. Mh, guess psy-so mechanisms are a bit more comlex than simply thinking: "boobsboobsboobs...".

OMG! I so had those same bad habit, and I kicked it as well. I also have to wonder the differences in effectiveness in different modes of administering of estrogen. I take the pills, it comes out to 4mg a day. I've been doing this since march or 2009, and though I've had great breast growth my facial changes are not at all what it seems like it's been for you. Then again it could be those prominent German features... Oh if only I could just work my face like play-dough!

There isn't a need for a 'boob job' as you so eloquently put it, as the HRT causes breasts to grow. Some opt for one anyway though

@Kuriousgorge87 - I can't help because I don't know! If you want to self-prescribe then you need to do a lot of research. The better option IMO is to talk to a therapist, get a referral to start HRT, and work with your doctor/endocrinologist to find a regimen that is best for you.

i can relate to the whole muscle thing

i also did martial arts(wrestling) for a couple of years in high school so unfortunately i now have a huge back and broad shoulders :S

Lots of great info, I love seeing how hormones affect others. I'm sort of having the opposite experience to you - hardly any changes in my skin at all but my chest went crazy almost straight away. Have a great trip!

I recall my skin getting softer, and my upper body bulk lessened. But you really hit the nail on the head with strength-loss. I did my last gig with some friends and borrowed a Gibson Thunderbird bass, which is so heavy, was unbareable to play. Sexuality and sexual urges do rapidly decrease. I also have cheekbones I never had before. As for breast development, I had to have breast augmentation. But its an amazing evolution. Have a great trip, Samantha - see you soon (hugs) x

Yeah the boobage I'm expecting to take another 2-2.5 years before it's really done. I don't want to go digging around in there while there's still growth going on. After that, we'll see.

Also, getting weaker sucks. I am going to try to do something to upkeep my body so I don't just turn into a fatty, girly blob!

Hi, Samantha. Keeping fit is important. I drink the odd glass of wine only, have become veggie, and do a lot of walking in the Welsh mountains. I don't do weights or anything like that, no way. Hormones don't help when trying to keep the weight off. I went a bit tubby after starting hormones but I've lost it now. I just have a low fat diet. Somehow, I cannot ever see you turning into a fatty, girly blob. You look great and natural and I think your brilliant. :)
