  • My daughter passed away with Ewing Sarcoma Feb. 7, 2009. Her name was Brandy Lynette Reid and was treated at the Children's Hospital in Birmingham, AL from Sept. 2007 - Feb. 7, 2009. I do think that this type of cancer needs to be study more. R.I.P. Brandy, mom loves you!

  • Thank you for what you have decided to do in memory of your mother.I am sure that she is very proud of your path and vision as she looks from heaven in guidance in your efforts. My 12 yo son has just been diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma and we will begin the fight April 24th 2008.I have began to get myself informed in the fight to gain awareness of this horrible disease. Keep up the great work and know that this disease has gained more enemies in the fight to defeat it.

  • Melissa, count on us to support your MOST wonderful cause, and, once again. Lucia will be biking right next to you.

    P.S. Love the lumenarias shot

    Love, Auntie Val

  • Melissa, What a wonderful video. I was diagnosed with a pelvic leiomyosarcoma a year ago. After surgery, radiation, and chemo, I am currently NED (no evidence of disease). I hope to meet you in Germany this summer as I, too, plan to raise funds and ride in Team Sarcoma 2008. Alan

  • Hey Alan, me and my boyfriend booked our tickets yesterday! We're excited about Germany/Austria and meeting you all!

  • Ah crap I meant to give your comment a thumbs up but I guess I have bad aim. SORRY!

  • I am a 46 year old single mom of a beautiful 16 year old daughter & a 1 year survivor of synovial sarcoma. People say I'm their hero because of everything I've been through. I kept an upbeat & positive attitude while I went through heavy chemo & radiation, having my leg amputated & learning how to walk & do things with a prosthetic leg. I say YOU are the real "HERO" for your dedication & awareness to the research of sarcoma.

Thank you my hero & God bless you.

  • Melissa, You are a inspiration to humanity. I know that although I never met your dear Mother, your Father is a dear friend. He beams with joy over your dedication to finding a cure in honor of your Mother. Your Mother is very proud of your efforts and will watch over you on your exciting trip. I Wish you a Safe trip and Good Luck on your fund raising efforts! Always, Melody Sparks

  • Thank you so much for your dedication to Sarcoma research. I am a chondrosarcoma survivor of 15 years and 7 years. I am now 52 years old. May God bless you and wrap you in his arms.

  • Haven't heard of GOOGLE CURRENT TV (I did check it out). If you want to hash out a video that sounds like a good idea to me--are you still in the states?
