I love this new campus idea. I have seen the work being done and am very excited to have such a wonderful workplace in The Houston/The Woodlands area.
A bold investment in the future -- ExxonMobil takes the long range view. It plans to stay around awhile and has decided that this type of campus is necessary to retract and retain top people. People that think this is not a profitable approach shouldn't own this stock; XOM discipline has made good returns over the years for many, many people, but annoys Wall Street type short-range thinking.
