You are so talented. Its amazing how you just transform the room. I can completely identify with the statement "state of temporary". Imagine having to stay in 800- 900 sqft apartment with two young kids. I wish and wish I could decorate and have a nicely furnished apartment, But having to move every one to two years makes it hard. Do show in one make over mondays, how to furnish a master bedroom and kids room in a 9ft x 10ft room.

I love #2! and the bedroom design for #2 I live in an apartment, and I can't paint my walls, window panels are a perfect idea! I have very dim lighting in my room as well, great idea with the lanterns I honestly thought it was paint, VERY USEFUL! I LOVE IT! YOU ARE GREAT! GOD BLESS

@byounghusband Awesome... Glad you liked it. Its funny, orange gets a bad rap sometimes... I think Halloween did orange a disservice ..lol... For Scott, we wanted to pick a fun unexpected color to add life and punch. Orange definitely did it!! FYI, He has since moved to aquas and blues to work with his chocolate colored furniture and window treatments. Its a testament to buying the right pieces originally and being able to change accessory colors for an updated look ;-)

With the apartment space set up aside, I really like the rich and warm color seen in #3, especially the lighting reflecting off the dark brown headboard in the bedroom. Cozy #3 is definitely my favorite!

It's so hard to tell. Apt 2 was shot in such a way as to give it a golden romantic feel. Apt 3 had that high ceiling which was used to your usual dramatic effect. Apt 4 I think I liked the space best but none of the selections were a first choice. Apt 5 I think you are enough of a mom to hate that I think this was a tanker. those ginormous drab sofas and puny shelving. Get some paint on those white walls maybe the ceiling as well. Just not orange

@benemanoo Anything "works" if you know how to adjust things. Design is like a puzzle. Things fit together to make a whole.... but there is a domino effect when you change things. if you copied everything EXACTLY, but changed to lighter furniture you might like it but you will have lost some of the balance you see in the photos. That just means you adjust other things to compensate... :-) RR

I LOVED house #2, i wanna know what is that thing on top of the table with little lights all over? It's amazing! I'd love to get me one of those, the only thing i didn't like was the pictures on the wall (of the model) IMHO the place looked so elegant it just didn't need those huge pics i think.. Our family lives overseas (except for my son who is back home in the USA) and it's a dilemma for me to decorate because we move every 3 years :-( Anyway - great video as always.
