  • I traded that to him for his Goldie. He still misses it I think.

Snarph is aces, is a master at setups.

  • @bluzjamer yeah he does a killer setup job.

  • That looks familiar you didn't grab that off Snarph did you?

  • @bluzjamer yes i sure did.

  • this is the best xaviere demo on youtube...turns out im already subscribed lol must have been after this video...im waiting on my xv510 to arrive on tuesday....im sure ill be pleased once i set it up

  • @rockizdead22 thanks dude. awesome! let me know how you like it when you get it.

  • @petrucciansky well i got it as a "blem" for 136 bucks so i cant complain to much.....its extremely light which is kind of a plus for me (bad back) but i cant get past the quality control.....the tail piece string holes are so small its damn near impossible to get the strings out of em...the nut is total crap looks like a kid hacked it to death before they shipped it...i planned on changing it anyway but man....lol the frets need work bad which i dont do....after a pro setup it should be good

  • @petrucciansky but comparing it to my agile....in my opinion its night and day...the agile is much more solid and smooth to play....quality and wood just seems better on the agile....and the stock pickups on the agile sounds as good as the crunchy pats to me....i like the guitar dont get me wrong i just think rondo is a better bang for the buck!

  • @rockizdead22 it's hard to beat the agile bang for the buck... i got lucky with my xaviere but i still like the agiles better.

  • @rockizdead22 i've heard on inconsistent quality issues with many of the gfs guitars... I've owned an agile Les Paul in the past and it was a total complete beast.. heavy too... What's your opinion on the gfs XV-870 strats? i was thinking of getting one..

  • @keithsa41 ive heard different things about the strats as well....i wish now i would have popped on one of those instead...feature wise they seem to be better...bone nut, alnico pickups hand filed frets etc....if you buy it new im sure you will be happy...again mine was a blemish guitar so i expected some of the issues i faced with it

  • the xv 500 sounds amazing, i'm gonna buy one for sure hope the shipping doesn't cost a lot since i live in europe

  • @wretcheddog yeah shipping will be a little pricey to ship to europe. best of luck getting yours!

  • I had a student who had one of these, it was a really good guitar.

  • @reaperpro yes they are.

  • They stopped making that model,. I bought an LTD EC-1000 instead.

  • @zonie9872 congrats dude. how you like the 1000?

  • @OneLoveJK they are both great guitars for the money. i think that the xaviere has some nice pups and attention to some details. nice tuning keys on mine and smooth pots. it's much lighter than an agile. the agile is a hunk of heavy solid guitar. i just happen to like the weight and a lot of people don't. the thing i love about my agiles are the alnico pups sound great to me, the bone or graphite nut, the ebony fingerboard. i think they are close in quality but to me i prefer the agiles.

  • Sounds great , i have been toying with the idea of buying one of these for awhile .

  • how is the neck profile.. would you say slim or medium.. and how does it play standing up ?

  • @keithsa41 it's more of a medium neck. it's not as chunky as a lp and not a slim. it plays very easy standing up. it's much lighter than a lp too.

  • man that 1st tune sounds reminiscent of the pearl jam's untitled track after bee girl on lost dogs

  • it's the chords from part of the chorus of the silent man - dream theater.

  • Not bad,, how do you think it compares to a AL?

  • this thing sounds and plays great dave. it's way lighter and slimmer but a cool guitar. i'm not much on the silver flake but it's a cool axe. this was one of snarphs. i'm still a big al fan but this guitar is nice too.

  • Sounds nice dude! Sound like what a LP SHOULD sound like, not WHAT they sound like today!

    Modern Gibsons sound like crap!

I've played spec copies that sound MORE Gibson than Gibson do!

    So work THAT 1 out!

  • thanks dude, i couldn't agree more!

  • gfs make great products at a good price

  • i definitely agree!

  • Sure do! Got a set of Noizeless Tele p/ups for a Tele clone kit im building + a modern Tele bridge plate with S/S saddles!

    Very nice.

  • that sounds good and looks great. My father in law has a Xaviere and loves it. I like the head stock on your much better than his.

  • thanks dude. i think this is the older head stock. i did some trading for this guitar.

  • I totally missed this bit...I like that Xaviere. Damn

shame Jay won't get these in lefty. Nice playing,

    as always, of course.

  • yeah it is a shame. thanks dude, this was a snarph git.

  • Very nice. I'm not a big fan of the Line 6 Toneport, but even it sounds good with that guitar. Is that one of the older models? The headstock is different.

  • thanks dude. i hear a lot of people say that. i have had one for a long time now and guitar rig too. just for jamming at home. but i don't tend to use their preset sounds. i create my own presets to what i like. the xaviere is probably an older one. i got this one from a trade with a friend.

  • Nice! I have never heard of Xaviere.

Is it a new name or am I a little slow on these things?

Big bucks, or are theycost effective like the Agiles?

  • thanks dude! you can get them at guitarfetish. yes, they are nice guitars for $ like agiles.

  • They areVERY Cheap but VERY well made and have good GFS pickups factory fitted.
