  • I would dearly love to see this performance of Giselle made into a dvd. Legris and Cojocaru are fantastic together.

  • 0:30 the thing broke...

  • her first developpe is just to die for, and then after her part de bras forward over the leg and she starts lifting her leg at same time as the body...i almost stop breathing... she is divine!

  • This is a truly remarkable rendering of this great classical work. Both leads are fully committed to their characters and still their technique remains in tact. BRAVO. It's good to see that we in the ballet world are still working toward a perfection that doesn't come quickly, and that you have to strive for everyday.

  • argghh...

    so GREAT !!

    I love it

  • yes, thank you for posting this!

  • It's unfortunate that the TV-to-Computer shift has distorted the dancers' dimenstion so much. Certainly it's always exciting to see Cojocaru in any of the great ballerina roles, but the weird elongation of the bodies was annoying.

  • It was not like that. It has changed recently, probably for some youtube updates: the same has happened to other clips in my channel. I hope they soon return to the original format...

  • I looove them!

  • And I had thought that Manuel Legris was taller...

    Ah well. Beautifully danced.

  • He is 1.78 tall.

  • Meters?

  • !!!??? 1meter and 78 centimeter. O.K.?.Normal or not?

  • Sorry! I'm an American. *headdesk*

  • Many thanks for posting this!
