Go to hell Unite here. People, stop being brain washed, why pay union dues for something that you DO NOT NEED. It's a waste of your time and money. Unions are a sinking ship and it's time to jump off before you all go down with the ship. God Bless.
This overtly fake ad has more spin than Ann Coulter on one of her binge drinking sprees.
They even included a token black guy. I wouldbe interessted inwhat percentageof their uppermanagement isAfrican-American my guess is .00001 percent. Laughable. I never will stay at a Hyatt until they start negotiating in good faith. ---The Greed of Corporations never ceases to amaze me
Wow, very polished. "Our benefits include free coverage for Dental, vision, and life insurance" You gotta love this guy!!! He's almost convinced me to apply!!! Unfornately I am sure he is an actor.
That $1000 is what you would have to use in copay for benefits every year plus. All of those other Hyatts ARE UNION. ALL OF OUR CONTRACTS NOW EXPIRE AT THE SAME TIME. A couple of bucks for your employees benefits, the Boycott continues. Your employees made you HUGE PROFITS. They deserve it.
Hyatt, way to go. This video will inspire non-union workers across the country to fight even harder for the benefits that Chicago workers have won. Chicago workers, thank you for leading the way. Imagine what you'll be able to win once Hyatt workers all across the country win the union and can fight alongside with you for even more. This is what movement building looks like. I tip my hat to you!
Maybe Hyatt should have offered an equitable agreement to their employees instead of spending a bunch of money on a video that talks the workers like they're idiots. Stay strong and stay together! Hyatt needs you. Their executives get richer every year as they take precious benefits from you.
The union is hurting the employees by not settling. That $1000 was something I needed. The hotel could give us $1000 tax free and we would be making out more with that then what the union is going to get us by making us wait. Yes, we are going to get an increase but the $1000 would have been a lot more and it would be upfront. A dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow. The way the union is going, we wont get anything.
This is the message all of us Hyatt employees need to hear. This is the truth and the union is not doing what it should do for the employees. They are really working on a national agenda and trying to be super powerful but it is not working. Now they have to use our money and our strike fund to fund stupid campaigns that are hurting all of us employees. We have no contract and it is not because of the hotel but because of the union. They do not want to meet and bargain and we all know it.
Who cares whether it is an actor or a member of the Hyatt staff. Is that really what you want to complain about? It appears from the video that the union will not present Hyatt's offer including the $1k bonus that expired in December to the members for a vote. Why? As a side note, I do not work for Hyatt but am a business person who travels over 150 nights per year and stays in hotels all over the country.

Total distortion of reality. He says "we" as if he's an administrator for Hyatt...baloney! He's an actor!
Moreover, if you want to show how the workers feel, why not provide survey information that indicates that the workers are happy?
BECAUSE THE SURVEY WOULD REVEAL THE REALITY,
THAT
THE WORKERS SUPPORT THE UNION
BECAUSE
THEY ARE
THE UNION!

Why did they hire an actor, were they not able to find a manager capable of putting together complete sentences?
