  • As a kid, the stage 2 boss served as major nightmare fuel for me.

  • Splatterhouse fans and Blood and Gore fanatics alike Check out ym My response video to The Remake Of Splatterhouse and tell me your opinion

  • 8:07 Tactical Suicide? SWEET! The monsters got more intelligent!

  • The purple monsters sound like Micheal Jackson!!!

  • i love the splatterhouse series..and i'll probably get hate mail for this but... i like the newest 1 (the remake of the original) the best out of them all..the only way it could be more awesome was if visceral games did it..it'd be twice as bloody....visceral gets away with so much more than namco

  • Is it safe to assume that the turbografx 16 version had blood in it, instead of green goo?

  • the boss of lvl 2 is kinda creepy

  • I thought the bloood puppets were ether dead babies or aborted babies

  • Interesting facts:

1-The difficulty setting doesn't actually make the enemies tougher. It just determines how many blows you can take before it's lights out.

2-Each of the passwords has a hidden message, such as Evil, Doom, Kill, Dead, and Fear. But the password for the final level, EDK, VEI, IAL, LDL, reads "Evil Dead Kill."

3-Both this game and its sequel have the exact same disclaimer on the box.

  • i used to play this game when i was like 9 years old its freking me out

  • What an awsome name for a video game.

  • I gotta say, this game has very creepy music for a 16-bit console. The intro music and music that plays before the stage begins.

  • What's up with that monster at 04:40? Is it scared of that boss that appears right after he runs away?

  • How did you get this? The sega version costs like 50$

  • @JohnDohse I have had it since it first came out years ago.

  • Love the theme for this game if I ever hear it I remember all the gore grenching terror of my enemies splattering on the WALL!!!

  • Actually I've got a question. Why do you see your self as a corn anyways? A walking corn on top of that. Too much LSD?

  • It was kinda like Ryu's father in the original Ninja Gaiden for NES--Jennifer appeared to be dead, but she is still alive. :)

  • *SPOILER*

Well you kill her in the first game then in the game the Evil one takes her soul and will use it as a ritual but rick saves her and then resurrect her. So it isn't a fake Jennifer in the first (even if Jennifer back then had brown hair which i think was due to Turbo 16/PC engine re-module characters like rick with the red mask and some other things.) game you kill

  • And I thought the first game was over the top!

  • Time to chainsaw some aborted fetuses!

  • this is my fav splatterhouse game. glad to see the game master do a run of it ;)

  • cool animation a nice improvement over the second one.

  • what the hell was that at 3:10

  • I loved this sequel!

  • You missed the oar weapon in stage 4. You walk just over it at 10:33.

  • Always entertaining!

also, it's funny when you get sucked into the computer in the intro lol.

  • I like Splatterhouse 2 the best. Maybe it has something to do with the sound of the Genesis or because it's even grosser than 1.

  • The gore is beautiful isn't it lol.

  • @CornshaqGaming More Blood!

  • @Gesh86 You like 2 the best because it is the best game of the three. :)

  • I like this one the most however I do agree with Derek aka HVGN 3 was the worst though it's okay to play.

  • I thought the blood puppets were dead babies on strings :3

  • lol yeah I can see that and it would have caused so many problems if that was in a game today lol.

  • great as usual

  • Amazing as always!
