I spend almost a year Afghanistan, we spend more being shot at and not firing back, making sure prisoners get proper nutrition and health ensurance. I won't deny there seem to be corruption Afghan armored forces and police.

The best way to solve the Afghan crisis is by quickly building up an educated middle class in Afghanistan. Already huge deposits of minerals and natural gas have been discovered. Exploitation of such natural resources will bring quick money to Afghanistan and employ huge numbers of people. This will lead to rapid urbanisation which in turn will have a moderating influence on a feudal society. This is the only way Taliban can be defeated. There is no military solution to Afghan crisis.

The best way to solve the Afghan crisis is by quickly building up an educated middle class in Afghanistan. Already huge deposits of minerals and natural gas have been discovered. Exploitation of such natural resources will bring quick money to Afghanistan and employ huge numbers of people. This will lead to rapid urbanisation which in turn will have a moderating influence on a feudal society. This is the only way Taliban can be defeated. There is no military solution to Afghan crisis.

As far as the enemy we "can't see," that's part of what this documentary is about, is that this isn't exactly a traditional "war," it's a counter-insurgency, and you can win a counter-insurgency but not the same way you win a war, it's not just about battles.
As far as debt, yeah, I can't deny how worriesome that is, and that fact along with the need to escalate in Afghanistan go to show how going in Iraq has hurt our mission in Afghanistan.
