Exactly the type of fisher I avoid. Their whiskers are harmless. Only their side fins and top fins have mild poison in the leading most stiff fin-ray. It hurts like a bee sting for about 30 minutes then goes away. I haven't had a problem.

it's a myth that the have poisen. why it gets iffected is because they are bottom feaders so they have bacteria on them and then when they poke you it gets in the cut
