can you tell if this xtc drive can make same hard edged distortion with humbucker? samething like alice in chains, with much gain???

I dont listen to Alice in Chains but I do use this pedal with a USA Fender strat plus and a modded Epiphone Les Paul Seymour Duncan pick-ups. I get a very cool hard rock sound when using the humbucker set-up. Send a message to Brian himself, he will know better :) he does have other pedals on offer

get the AMT B1 for the Alice in Chains tones, its based off the Bogner Triple Giant's sharp channel and it has that same Bogner thick, juicy high gain

I have the pedal now, its brilliant! I was like! my other od/distortion pedals don't sound as good as this!! its way better than my Tonebone pedal!! the Ecstasy Drive rocks!! thats the bottom line! it gives you a sound that you can't stop playing with :)

Can the pedal get any more gain? Or is it pretty much dimed in the clips?
