  • Gregory is plainly argumentative and disrespectful. Nothing else. That's how he makes his money.

  • Let's call these press conferences for what they truly are...an opportunity for a handful of people to have a job and get a paycheck every two weeks. In the big scheme of things, do you really think anyone gives a shit about what is said at these "press conferences". These are bullshit sessions for people who have nothing better to do with their time than argue with each other. You can get more relevant information from a fortune cookie.

  • Tony Snow is doing what he is supposed to do, hide as much as he can from the American public. The reporter's job is to ask the tough questions, to at least find the truth. He recently apologised to David Gregory.

  • RIGHT ON. DAvid Gregory did what reporters are supposed to do...PRESS...Press for questions...that's why they're the PRESS.

  • Tony Snow tells the pompous "reporters" that they are not gods and they can't handle it. David Gregory makes himself a part of the story and he isn't.

  • No - could yours be affecting you? David Gregory sticks out like a sore thumb because he is about the only person in there that asks reasonably tough questions. Clearly he shares my philosophy that politicians should be asked something slightly more challenging than 'what did you have for breakfast this morning?'

  • The most pompous prick in the room is standing behind the podium.

  • I see it differently, could your bias be affecting your judgement?

  • I saw him on Bill Maher's show in HBO before he became press secretary and handled himself quite well. He doesn't get personal or flippant and I think his fairness and articulation have served him well in this job.

  • or DixonB....

  • I wasn't in the room. Is nobody listening to Gregory's actual point, he is absolutely spot on and Snow's answer is totally inadequate.

  • Gregory had a point? Where was that buried in his monologue of complaints. Tony is the master at putting BS artists in their place.
