It is very difficult to get people to look at the 911/WTC issue. I am east of Fresno in the Mtns. I don't have tv and I saw this on youtube. Even the NIST report on WTC 7 states that the debris damage had no part in the building collapse other than to ignite the fires it says were "hundreds of degrees below those considered in practice for fire resistance ratings." Further, in 1975 and prior to installation of a sprinkler system, the north WTC tower was subject to a fire of at least 1500 degrees fahrenheit that caused ZERO damage to the trusses.

So a blunt object like a turbofan jet engine has the same capacity for penetrating steel and iron as an armor piercing bullet? Can an armour piercing bullet have pierced through the entire world trade center at all? We might never know but imprezajay does.

Lets assume that blunt turbofan jet engines have armour piercing potential. What happened to the unscathed cement face of the pentagon with the American Airlines flight? How come the engines did not pentetrate the walls or leave marks?

A simple office fire is quite different than 800k pounds of weight sitting in the middle of 8-10 floors that are continuously on fire and spreading at a rapid rate. And your argument of terrorists not being able to get thermite and nano-thermite is pretty weak. Perhaps thermite was placed in the plane?

The melting point of Iron is 1535C degrees. You then stated that the fire from the fuel tank + office fires would be between 1400-1600F degrees. All that is needed for a building to collapse is the weakening of its structure, not melting. Also, thermite was used to cut the steel columns during the recovery operation, so obviously there would be pieces of it laying around. Besides, how is a skyscraper supposed to fall from a fire if there "has never been one?"

Aircraft impacts cannot take down a skyscraper. Nor can raging fires. The only things that can bring down a skyscraper are controlled demolition, severe earthquakes, tornadoes/hurricanes, atomic bombs, and the Incredible Hulk. Take your pick. The Twin Towers were designed SPECIFICALLY to withstand fires and plane crashes. WTCs 1, 2, and 7 were destroyed via controlled demolition.
