the danger to ankle looks obvious..
But typically what can go wrong is after you have done a face plant....just look at bmx accidents...
now imagine one leg all the way through one wheel all the way to the knee and the other end pushing into your crotch or pushing into your face or jaw or back...

the good old faceplant. Did one at age of 6 on my pushbike, then again on my Yamaha 80 at 14. He definitely should have had some safety gear on I agree. The thing about legs sliding through is a bit of a furphy though. Cant happen.

i think they took the motor OUT. i have one of those, their fun and they run off a simple Gasoline Engine. but his doesnt have on in between both wheels.
