Two weeks later he asked me to be the lead in their first music video, and it'll be on youtube in a few days. Trippy, no? It's fate I guess

Chris drumming sounds mediocre, it's flashy but it's not unique. Josh is a true artist, no other drummer sounds like him.

Show me another drummer who pulls out anything like 'guns of summer' or 'the broken'. you have it completly backwards dude. Josh's drumming sounds mediocre. its groovey but not unique. Chris is the true artist. i just am curious to why you think that. BTW i love both drummers alot Chris is just in another world over most drummers.

@mjmarchini Fan to fan here. dude you can have your opinions but none of Josh's drumming is better than chris's. the drums on YOTBR were 100% more technical than SSTB-GA1 combined. Josh can never touch Chris. however, if you are talking about grooves Josh is more groovy to chris's brutallity/techniques. i don't mind others opinions but when someone says someone is 'better' for a reason i can't see i have to comment and ask why haha. cheers.

@solonaviavenger You stated exactly why people say he's better. It's all a matter of opinion and more importantly the specific style of drumming each person is into. I personally agree with you that Chris is far better in terms of raw skill and playing ability. But I don't think he ever quite "fit" the band. Josh's style is better suited to Coheed and I'm ecstatic that he's back.
